All driveways are required to be permitted through ITID. Upon completion of installation all driveways are inspected by ITID staff to ensure proper drainage and safety standards are met. Detailed driveway specifications and permits are available at the ITID Administration office located at 13476 61st North. It is the responsibility of the Acreage Resident to maintain driveways and culverts to promote safety and drainage. Proper driveway and culvert installation is important to ensure proper drainage and prevent damage to sidewalks and paved roads. Mowing of swales and keeping culvert ends free of vegetation is one way to ensure proper drainage for you and your neighbors. One blocked culvert can block drainage for the entire street, thus everyone’s diligence is important.
