Formerly known as Hamlin Equestrian Park, this facility was renamed in memory of Nicole Hornstein, who suffered a tragic fall in 2006. Three years later, former Gov. Charlie Crist signed "Nicole's Law" which requires horseback riders 16 years of age and younger wear helmets while riding on public roads and right-of-way’s and while taking riding lessons.
The District encourages all riders, regardless of age and skill, to wear a helmet while riding on public road and right-of-way’s.
